Hi, I am Shoba and I am freelance professional Makeup Artist based in Johannesburg specialising in Indian bridal makeup, hair and dressing.

My love for makeup started from childhood. I remember raiding my mum’s cupboard for any kajal eyeshadow, blush and lipstick. I was told that I loved changing clothes many times during the day and loved dressing up and still do. My mum is a dressmaker so as a result I was exposed to fashion early and I remember paging through fashion books and magazines and would stare at the fashion and beauty pages. I loved how makeup could transform a face with both subtle and bold changes with the application of lipstick or eye shadow.

The passion for make-up created a great desire to learn the art of make-up. I enrolled at the Make-up School in Rivonia in 2005 and since then never looked back.

As a professional make-up artist I believe that it is my duty to do the best for my client. I use professional products such as: Kryolan, MAC, Bobby Brown, PMU, Studio Make-up that guarantee that your make-up will last throughout the day, as you deserve to feel confident and look beautiful until the very end!

I am a sincere, down to earth person with a bubbly personality always conducting myself in a professional manner.
